About Your First Visit
FREE Functional Evaluation for NEW Patients
What To Expect On Your First Visit
Below is the information you need regarding your first visit to our office, so that there are no surprises and you can go through the process worry-free. Our doctor’s job is to properly diagnose your condition and provide a treatment plan that will correct your problem and provide relief from pain and lack of mobility.
Your first visit to our clinic is dedicated to examining and diagnosing only. Please allow 60-90 minutes for your initial office visit.
Initial Paperwork
Get the New Patient Form (9-pg PDF)
When you arrive, our staff will help you fill out your initial paperwork. We will need your insurance card and picture ID for your medical file. If you do not have insurance, that’s not a problem; just let our receptionist know. We work individually with every patient financially to ensure you can receive the treatment you need. Next, you will be asked to fill out a patient history. Again, our staff will be happy to assist you in completing this form. This patient history is very important because it tells the doctor how your health has been up until the second he meets you. Please be as thorough as possible.
Initial Exam
After the doctor reviews your history, he will perform a precise spinal, orthopedic, and neurological exam to help determine the cause of your discomfort. You remain fully clothed for this, and it will give the doctor an overall view of your entire body’s wellness. If you have had an MRI, we ask that you bring the results with you to your first visit. After this initial exam takes place, you will then be scheduled for a report-of-findings (ROF) visit. It is important to make this visit as soon after you initial exam as possible, next day if possible.
Treatment Plan
During your second visit, your doctor will go over his exam findings and he will outline a specific treatment plan just for your condition and its phase of severity. After he is finished, our clinic’s financial officer will sit down with you and discuss your insurance coverage and the exact out-of-pocket expenses involved with your total care. We pride ourselves on the fact that our patients do not receive “surprise” bills in the mail and we hold ourselves to a very high standard. Our entire franchise is trained extensively on insurance dynamics and we do not feel that insurance questions should be a burden for our potential patients. We accurately document benefits and insurance approvals to ensure we give you an honest cost of treatment. If you do not have insurance, our financial officer will use this time to go over payment options and financing, if needed.
Last, expect to begin treatment at that second visit! After your report-of-findings we will begin the first visit in your care plan. Please feel free to ask any questions and be excited to finally be taking charge of your health! Give us a call to set up your first visit.
